Perfect Petra

Hello All!

I visited Petra! (Again!). I had an amazing time, but I’m going to let the pictures speak for themeslves. Most of these photos are courtesy of Besnik (in the blue shirt) and Yahya, who I adventured with all day. It was hot, exhausting, and tons of fun!

    Thanks for the photos. As we are limited on how many places we can visit it is nice living vicariously through your photos. I hope to return the favor this summer with great photos myself.

    looks amazing! Petra is at the top of list of places to see. I cannot wait for the day to go. I’m thinking if you have gone twice, then it feels quite safe???

      It definitely is! If you’re feeling a bit nervous about the whole thing, you can arrange to do a tour instead of going on your own. I use viator very frequently, though there are many other websites available, of course.

    So, we are planning to visit Petra in 2018 as part of a round-the-world trip. I’m thinking Beirut > Tel Aviv > Petra > Amman > Dubai as an itinerary for that portion of the trip. Any suggestions?

      Yes! Do you mean flight/travel/things to do/eat/see/ suggestions? Where to stay? Let me know and I will be more than happy to help. I’ve been to Tel Aviv, Petra, and Amman, but haven’t knocked Beirut off the list yet. I hear it’s great!
